Charo Santos - dramatic actress, starting with her haunting performance in the 1976 Asian Film Festival Mike de Leon entry "Itim" where she won Best Actress. She also got the critics’ nod for Lino Brocka’s "Gumapang Ka Sa Lupa" where she also bagged another acting trophy for Best Supporting Actress.
