Karam Ibrahim Gaber ( _ar. كرم إبراهيم جابر, born
September 1 ,1979 inAlexandria ) is an Egyptian Greco-Roman wrestler. He won the gold medal in the Men's Greco-Roman 96 kg at the2004 Summer Olympics , and won the silver medal at the 2003 World Championships.Gaber won with a gap of 10 points (10-0) at the 2004 Olympics Greco-Roman finals. Gaber competed in a
mixed martial arts match againstKazuyuki Fujita (Greco-Roman Wrestling) atK-1 's "Dynamite" event onDecember 31 ,2004 . Ibrahim lost by knockout at 1:07 into the first round. Despite the result, Gaber was reportedly still interested in MMA.Fact|date=July 2007 More recently, Gaber wasEgypt 's flagbearer at the Opening Ceremony for the2008 Olympics inBeijing .
