lake that feeds into the Blue Lake watershed onBaranof Island in theAlexander Archipelago in theAlaskan Panhandle . Camp Lake is a popular destination for the first night on theBaranof Cross-Island Trail due to its surroundingalpine meadow and the beautifully-clear nature of the lake. Camp Lake is actually not named onUSGS maps but is informally named bySitka residents for its prime aforementioned characteristics. Camp Lake is sits between Bear Mountain and Mt. Bassie and atop a small headwall on theMedvejie Lake valley even though it feeds into the Blue Lake watershed.
