Pennsylvania Avenue National Historic Site is a unit of the National Park Service in Washington, D.C..

Pennsylvania Avenue, linking the Capitol to the White House, serves as America's main street, providing a setting for parades and cultural activities. The site encompasses Ford's Theatre National Historic Site, several blocks of the Washington commercial district — including the Old Post Office Tower — and a number of federal structures.

Designated September 30, 1965. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 15, 1966. "Old Post Office and Clock Tower" listed on the Register on April 11, 1973. The site is under the National Mall and Memorial Parks administrative unit.
