*The Dock, Wharf, Riverside and General Labourers' Union (1887-1922), led by Ben Tillett and strongly represented in London, southern England and South Wales
*The National Union of Dock Labourers (1889-1922), led by James Sexton and strongest in Liverpool, northern England and Scottish ports
*The Scottish Union of Dock Labourers (1911-1922), based in Glasgow
*The Transport and General Workers Union (1922 - ).
