Population of Tevatia Jats is mainly concentrated inFaridabad ,Bulandshahr , Bharatpur,Mathura ,Ghaziabad ,Aligarh districts. There are some villages of Tevatias inBijnor ,Moradabad ,Nainital districts also. About 900 years back some Tewatia Jats crossedYamuna river and founded presentBhatona village in Gulawthi (Bulandshahr) UP. Along with them went some Dagar and Rawat Jats also from Palwal. Palwal and Batana again are persian name.Ec-Batana used to be ancient capital ofIran during Pre-Mauryan time.
