Joseph Clanton (born in Tyrone, Georgia on November 1, 1972), is an American race car driver and businessman. He was the 2002 champion in the now-defunct American Speed Association stock car series. Recently, he purchased two Zaxby's franchises and will compete in the Craftsman Truck Series under their sponsorship for Roush Fenway Racing . On February 19th, 2008 he was released by Roush Fenway Racing. Travis Kvapil, John Wes Townley, and Bobby East will share the duties of driving the 09 Zaxby's Ford for the rest of the season.

In 2003, he ran 18 races in the Busch Series for Brewco Motorsports, scoring 1 top five. The following season, he ran the first two Craftsman Truck Series races for Key Motorsports, but wrecked out of both events. While unemployed, he served as a team manager for Jon Wes Townley. In 2007, he returned to the Truck Series to drive the #09 for Wood Brothers/JTG Racing, finishing in the top-ten five times in sixteen races.
