Curtis Alexander is a footballer on the fictional footballing drama Dream Team, played by Chucky Venice.

Curtis first appeared in the fifth season of the show as a friend of Monday Bandele who was manager of Harchester United at the time. He agreed to sign for the team if Monday would sign his older brother Linton. However Curtis pulled out of the deal, revealing it to be just a scam to get his brother signed.

Harchester career

When his brother dies in a coach crash killing three other people, he signs for real under the management of his old PSG boss Patrick Doyle.

Things get off to a rocky start for Curtis when he is accused of rape while on a night out even though he is found innocent this knocks his confidence. When Karl Fletcher finds out about Patrick Doyle's match-fixing, Curtis is accused of being in on it because of his association with Doyle this meant that Curtis missed an important goal in a cup match. It later transpired that it was Jamie Parker who was working for Doyle and not Curtis.

At the start of the next season Curtis feels like he is being replaced by star striker Luke Davenport, however he becomes happier when he starts romancing new receptionist Grace Ikema. Grace turns Curtis to Christianity and he gets baptised however Grace is appointed team-coordinator under strict instructions that she is not to have a relationship with any players. With Curtis having to keep his relationships under wraps he becomes frustrated and ends up getting drunk and sleeping with Donna Connelly the new wife of his team-mate Clyde. When Tony Boyle reveals this news trying to disgrace Donna, Grace breaks up with Curtis and he is ostracised by a lot of the team for sleeping with the wife of another player.

After Harchester is liquidised, Curtis joins forces with Dean Boyle to keep the club alive and get them keep playing ultimately the club is saved. When the truth about Stuart Naysmith and his match-fixing comes out, Curtis his made temporary manager of the team and is responsible for getting them into the Champion's League both as a player and as the manager however their enthusiasm is short-lived as they are relegated to the Championship for match-fixing.

In the show's Eighth Season, Curtis is made captain but is offered a deal to play for his boyhood team of Charlton Athletic, however Dean who is now chief executive of the team stops the deal going through. New manager Don Barker also feels that Curtis is lacking motivation and threatens to replace him with Frank Stone as captain but Curtis shows the leadership skills necessary when he admonishes Clyde for not finishing a training course this is one of the events that ultimately leads to Clyde's suicide.

Curtis then finds out about Frank's bisexuality and Barker forces Curtis to tell him and his daughter Jodie, also Frank's wife, the truth. After this revelation Curtis wants to leave the club but Barker plants drugs on him and shops him into the police to stop him leaving. The truth about Stone's sexuality then comes out after Curtis accidentally lets it slip to journalist Paul Hankin. After Barker is finally released, Curtis is one of the favourites to become manager however Vivian Wright believes that Curtis will try and utilise an injured Ryan Naysmith too quickly and convinces Eli Knox to make him manager instead.

Curtis is able to come through this and puts the team back into the Premier League in the play-offs.

Death

Curtis is later one of the players who is killed when an enraged Barker drives his car into the team bus following the Play Off Final.
