Martha, also known as The Martha Stewart Show, is an American, weekday one-hour talk show hosted by Martha Stewart. Previously airing in first-run syndication, the show began exclusively airing on cable network Hallmark Channel since September 13, 2010.[2]

History

The program originally debuted on September 11, 2005 in syndication. On December 14, 2008, it was announced that Martha had been renewed for a fifth season which aired from 2009-2010. A new season began airing on the Hallmark Channel since September 2010.

Synopsis

Each episode includes several segments related to cooking, crafts, gardening, interior design and other topics related to arts and crafts. The program also features celebrity guests.

Production and distribution

The program is taped before a studio audience at the Chelsea Studios in New York City, New York, weekdays at 10 a.m. Eastern time (15 UTC).

It is distributed by NBC Universal Television Distribution in a partnership with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

Move to Hallmark Channel

On January 26, 2010, Broadcasting & Cable reported that the program will be leaving broadcast syndication to make its début on the Hallmark Channel on September 13, 2010.[3]
