waterfalls created where two creeks join at the base of the falls, and then flow into Unicoi Lake. Both creeks begin onTray Mountain : Curtis Creek drops convert|153|ft|m|0 and York Creek drops convert|50|ft|m|0. The falls are named after Anna Ruby Nichols. The Anna Ruby Falls Scenic Area is a convert|1600|acre|km2|0|sing=on area around Anna Ruby Falls and is part of theChattahoochee National Forest , though access is only through Unicoi State Park. TheU.S. Forest Service leases it to thenon-profit Cradle of Forestry , thus the "universal"public land s pass forsenior citizen s is not honored. The entry fee for the parking area is one dollar per person, and aGeorgia state parks pass (such as for parking at Unicoi) is not honored, as it is on federal land rather than state.Anna Ruby Falls is one of four popular waterfalls located in the Forest near
Helen, Georgia . Two of the other water falls,Dukes Creek Falls and Raven Cliff Falls, are also in White County, while the third waterfall, DeSoto Falls, is in neighboring Lumpkin Countyee also
