Karen Koehler

Karen Koehler (born January 25, 1973) is an American writer of horror fiction, best known for "Slayer", a series of gothic vampire novels featuring the vampire-slaying character Alek Knight. The novels in the series include "Slayer" 2002, "Slayer: Black Miracles" 2003, and "Slayer: Stigmata" 2004. Her novels often center on religious affairs and conspiracies. She is also the author of a number of science fiction and mystery novels.

She was born in Garfield, New Jersey, The United States of America and as of 2000 lives in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. She is a supporter of Wicca religion and practices.
