- Shrewsbury Business Park
The Shrewsbury Business Park is a recent commercial development on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, Shropshire (at Emstrey). Construction commenced in late 2001 on the 30 acre, £25 million site, and is still ongoing.
Located just 2 miles south east of the town centre of Shrewsbury, Shropshire's
county town , thebusiness park lies on the junction of the A5 bypass and the B4380, near to Emstrey. The park's appeal is partly thanks to excellent transport links via the nearbyM54 motorway toTelford ,Wolverhampton andBirmingham , while being only a stone's throw away from a fine medieval town and beautiful countryside.Other business park developments in and around the town include the
Oxon Business Park to the West of the town centre and theBattlefield Enterprise Park to the North.Buildings
The park's buildings are a combination of fully-customised modern and traditional structures, all with dedicated parking.
The now complete and fully-occupied Alaska Building (right), home to the construction firm, Alaska Properties, has a modern, open plan layout and houses several firms.
Mtech's office, seen bottom right, is typical of some of the smaller properties available on the development.
Currently under construction are two new 'quarters' of the Business Park. The Creative Quarter will be home to five offices, the first of which - the Alaska Building - has already been completed. The Professional Quarter will have three new buildings, divided into five offices of between 200 and 400 m².
