Avraham Shabsi Friedman (born
March 22 ,1959 , 12 Adar II 5719 in the Jewish calendar) is a popular musical entertainer in the OrthodoxJew ish community, although he is known by hisstage name , Avraham Fried. Fried is one of the foremost musical entertainers of the Orthodox Jewish community. He is a Lubavitcher Hasid, and his music is mostly categoriezed as classical Jewish music, similar to his counterpart,
Mordechai ben David . His style can be considered traditional, yet modern and entertaining.
