Ali Paya is a contemporary
Iran ian philosopher and writer. He is a faculty member of the national research Institute for science policy (NRISP) in Iran and a Senior Research Associate and Visiting Professor at the Center for Study of Democracy,University of Westminster .He's written a number of books, including "Dialogue in a Real World" (2002), "Analytic Philosophy: Problems and Prospects" (2003), and "Models of Explanation" (2003). His writings have also been included, along with others, in such works as "Muslim Identity in the Twenty First Century: The Challenges of Modernity" (2000), "Exploring Civil Society: Political and Cultural Contexts" (2003), and "Islam and Political Order: Muslim Reflections on Democracy, Secularism and Law" (2003).
