Palnackie is a village in the Parish of Buittle, in the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright in Scotland. Since 1995 it has been in Dumfries and Galloway Council Administrative Region.

It has a population of around 150.

There is one school, one shop, including a post office. There is one public house and a restaurant.

There are several other businesses based here including two building contractors, decorator, and road haulage firm. There was once a busy port here on the River Urr, but this is largely silted up and not much used.

Palnackie hosts the Grande Internationale World Flounder Tramping Championships in late July or early August every year. Nearby is Orchardton Tower, the only round tower house in Scotland.
