Remick was born in
Quincy, Massachusetts , the daughter of Margaret Patricia (née Waldo), an actress, and Francis Edwin "Frank" Remick, who owned adepartment store . Remick has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6104 Hollywood Boulevard.
