"Songs from Black Mountain" is the name of Live's seventh studio album, which was released in most countries on April 10, 2006. It was also released on May 9, 2006 in Canada and May 29, 2006 in the United Kingdom before its release in the United States on June 6, 2006.

The lead single, "The River," was released to radio stations January 31, 2006, while the commercial release was March 21, 2006.

Although the album has been a success internationally, it has met with the weakest U.S. sales yet in Live's career, reaching #52 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart.
