KOPX is the ION Television affiliate in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It is owned and operated by ION Media Networks (the former Paxson Communications).

History

It was launched in 1996 as KMNZ, an affiliate of InTV, a network airing paid programming. On August 31 1998, KOPX became an affiliate of PAX (now ION Television) and The Worship Network, a Christian television network.

KOPX aired newscasts of Oklahoma's NewsChannel 4 from KFOR-TV, the local NBC affiliate from November 2002 to June 2005.
