The Rudolfinum is a music auditorium and one of the most important
neo-renaissance buildings inPrague . It is situated atJan Palach Square on the bank of the riverVltava . During many decades it is the home-stage of theCzech Philharmonic Orchestra and one of the main venues for thePrague Spring International Music Festival held each year from May-June.The building was designed by architectsJosef Zítek and his studentJosef Schulz , and was openedFebruary 8 ,1885 . Art Gallery that focuses mainly oncontemporary art .
