Ultraviolet-sensitive bead

Ultraviolet-sensitive beads were developed to react to ultraviolet rays, from the Sun or artificial sources. These beads are white or transparent when they're not exposed to UV rays. They do not react with visible light. When exposed to UV rays, the color changes into either blue, purple, orange, yellow, or red.
