Battle of Busan (1597)

The Battle of Busan was a naval conflict in 1597 during the Imjin War. In this battle, Won Kyun sailed towards Busan where the Japanese headquarters were based. When the Korean fleet arrived, they were surrounded by Japanese ships. In the ensuing battle, Won Kyun lost the battle, with about 300 ships, and most of the soldiers, before he himself was killed in the fighting as well.
