Shaka Labbits formed in May 1999 under the name "Juu-Shock". The band changed its name two months later to Shaka Labbits, by combining lead singer Uki's favorite animal (rabbit) with the
Japlish phrase "Love It". They began performing aroundTokyo in August 1999, and cut their first single "Swiss Mammy", releasing it through indie label Evil Design Records. They then released "Overdoing", a maxi single, on September 9, 2000. Since then, they have released at least one maxi single per year. They have released four full studio albums: "Exploring of the space" (2001), "Clutch" (2004), "Crimson Square" (2005), and "Uso wo Mazekonda Shinjitsu no Soup" (2007).Discography
