John "Johnny" Morris Taylor (born October 10 1895 in Stanmore, New South Wales, died May 12 1971 in Turramurra, New South Wales) was an Australian cricket batsman.

He attended Newington College (1906-1915) [Newington College Register of Past Students 1863-1998 (Syd, 1999) pp 194 ] and St Andrew's College within the University of Sydney.

He played in 20 Tests between 1920 and 1926 and still holds the Australian 10th wicket partnership record with Arthur Mailey, set in Sydney in 1924/25 against England.

He also played 2 Rugby Union tests for the Australian Wallabies against the New Zealand Maoris.
