- Santa Teresa Gallura
Santa Teresa Gallura is a city on the northern tip of
Sardinia , on theStrait of Bonifacio . It belongs to theprovince of Olbia-Tempio and has 4.622 inhabitants (Istat 2005). The southern coast ofCorsica can be seen from the beach. The city is one of several possible locations for the ancient city ofTibula .It has a permanent
population of about 5,000, increasing to 10,000 - 15,000 withsummer tourism. The maintown square has various tourist shops andrestaurants ; many of these close in the off-season. Immediately to the north of the town is Rena Bianca, Santa Teresa'sbeach . In the summer this beach is almost always crowded, but thewater is generally warm.External links
