Grange is a suburb located by the beach in Adelaide [cite book|title=2008 Adelaide and Surrounds Street Directory, 46st Edition |publisher=UBD (A Division of Universal Press Pty Ltd) |year=2008 |isbn= 978-0-731-92118-8] . It is approximately thirty minutes drive from the Adelaide Central business district.

The suburb is named after the home of Charles Sturt which he built on 500 acres (2 km²) allocated to him in 1842. "The Grange" cottage is still standing on the bank of the upper reaches of the Port River, next to the local primary school. Sturt's farm was subdivided in 1878 by a private company intending to establish a beach resort. Grange jetty was built in 1882.
