(2004)Years after the breakup of
Siouxsie & the Banshees , the three core members (Sioux, Steve Severin and Budgie) reunited for an abbreviated tour of the US and the UK in 2002. "The Seven Year Itch" is a live album recorded at aLondon concert during this reunion tour. Released bySanctuary Records in 2003 (in CD andDVD formats), both critics and fans praised the tour and album as the Banshees concentrated not on radio hits, but both popular and obscureB-side s and album tracks, many pulled from their early albums. This release also features a one-off rendition of
The Beatles 's "Blue Jay Way ", played in the memory ofGeorge Harrisson who passed away in 2001.The title is a reference to the
The Seven Year Itch movie as the Banshees hadn't played together in seven years before delivering this final tour of their career."Seven Year Itch" is the second live album of the band, the first being 1983's "Nocturne".
