"Raise the Death" is an album of the Colombian Thrash metal band, Athanator recorded in 2002. It includes new versions of old songs of the band and also new songs.

After several unsuccessful attempts to reunite, Athanator finally manages to record this album with a new line-up conformed by the original guitarists, Enrique Ramírez (bassist that was working with the band since 1994) and Javier Urán on drums. The new formation worked very well, and the album was well received by the public.

Several music labels proposed to produce and release the album, but at the end it was produced by the members of the band.

The name of the album symbolizes the return of the band to continue with its music work, this time more professionally and seriously and with a clear musical concept.
