Bautahaugen Samlinger (Bautahaugen collections), is a small museum in
Hedalen, Norway inSør-Aurdal municipality.Bautahaugen Samlinger is located in the central part of Hedalen, in a small forest overlooking the valley and with the mountains framing the landscape.
All of the buildings at the museum are small local farm houses and houses used for hunting, fishing and transhumance, — "sætring" in the nearby mountains and the valley of
Vassfaret andVidalen .A bit further up in Hedalen there is an old
stave church , theHedal stave church .The museum is a subsidiary of
