Features
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2010 features the U.S. Open, the USGA Championship and the USGA's Rules of Golf for the first time in the franchise's history.[4][5] The Weather Channel provides dynamic weather data for the game (the forecast channel on the Wii).[6] The new "Tournament Challenge" mode allows players to replicate famous shots and moments from the PGA Tour's history.[7]
There are several new courses available for this version of the game, including Bethpage Black, Pinehurst (Course 2), Torrey Pines, Oakmont, Hazeltine National, Banff Springs, and Turnberry, with all those listed courses having hosted major championships before. There are also many golfers featured in the game that are listed below. There are also fictitious golfers who are present in the game.
The Wii version of the game features support for the Wii MotionPlus, allowing for a more authentic sports motion to the golf swing, including the ability to draw and fade.[8] In Europe and North America, the Wii version was available in a bundle with a Wii MotionPlus accessory for limited time at launch.[9] Along with the use of the Wii MotionPlus there is a Disc Golf option in the game as well that adds a new mode to the game.

Reception
The Wii version of the game received an overall score of 9.0 in the July 2009 issue of Nintendo Power magazine. IGN also gave the Wii version of the game a 9.0 out of 10, praising its use of Wii MotionPlus and calling it "...the definitive golf game." [10]
Game Informer rated the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii versions 8.5 out of 10.[11]
Eurogamer rated the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions 7 out of 10.[12]
The experience and upgrade system, however, led Tycho of Penny Arcade to say "Tournaments that don't normalize player statistics aren't skill competitions… they're time competitions, measuring not the quality of your leisure hours but the volume"[13], and Gabe, "You can not compete unless you put the time in."[14]
According to NPD for the month of June, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 for Wii sold 272,400 units in North America, outselling Wii Fit in its debut month, putting it in fourth place for the month in overall sales.[15] Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 did not make the top 10 positions for other platforms according to NPD June sales.
On Metacritic, the Wii version has the highest average score at 88%, followed by PS3 at 81%, and Xbox 360 at 80%.
