Sarabhai Institute Of Science And Technology is a college in India, named after Dr. Vikram. A. Sarabhai, a pioneer of space science and technology.[1] It has been affiliated with the Cochin University of Science and Technology and approved by All India Council for Technical Education and the Government of Kerala to conduct undergraduate programmes in engineering.[2]

Campus
The campus, which encompasses 25 acres (100,000 m2) of land, is situated on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram, in the village of Vellanad.

>University II Rank in EI for the 2008 Batch (2004-2008). Maximum % of pass in EI of 2008 passout.
>Nearly 50% of the total faculty are highly qualified and experienced from R&D and academic institutions.Opportunities are given for higher studies for teachers.
>More than 10% of the total students benefited by fees waiver and scholarships
>Our Management is also operating the "Village resource district network" for the Govt. of Kerala as per an MOU with Planning Board, Govt. of Kerala
>National Informatics Centre(NIC), Govt.of India has recognized our institution as Training Centre for CollabCAD in Computer Engineering. >Presented 4 papers in National Science Congress, 2010. 5 papers presented in different National Seminars in 2009. Regular seminars are conducted for students' Career development and Teacher's Training Programme .
>Conducting Remedial classes for weaker students.Students are encourage to do their projects in the college by the R&D department.
