Sapphire theatre

Sapphire theatre was a multiplex in the city of Chennai which functioned from 1964 to the mid-1990s. With three separate screens, it has the reputation of being India's first multiplex. While the largest named Sapphire screened Hollywood movies, the others, Emerald and Diamond screened Indian films.
