Owen Eugene Armstrong (1952 - September 20, 2004)[1] was the first of three hostages in Iraq to be executed by al-Zarqawi's group Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad. Believed to be personally beheaded by Zarqawi, this was the second instance in 2004 of Zarqawi utilizing this new method of cyber terrorism since the Nick Berg beheading.
