Ousmane Baldé (died 1971) was a Guinean economist and politician.[1] For a long time he was President of the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea and served as a Minister of Finance. He was arrested in 1970 for conspiring in the Portuguese invasion of Guinea and sentenced to be hanged without trial in 1971 along with Ibrahima Barry and Magassouba Morida and other previously respected figures.
