Guaratiba

Guaratiba is a large neighborhood located in Rio de Janeiro. It has one of the city's smallest population densities.

Due to its territorial size is divided in sub-regions or sub-neighborhoods:

*Barra de Guaratiba is located at the lowland situated in the south of Serra da Grota Funda, including mangroves and an access point to Restinga de Marambaia.
*Pedra de Guaratiba is situated along the neighborhood's coastal region, with access to Sepetiba Bay, where the fishery activity is strong.
*Ilha de Guaratiba is essentially a rural area, including the southeastern face of Maciço da Pedra Branca.

Attractions
