Ora R. Rice was Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly.
Biography
Rice was born on September 16, 1885 in Boscobel, Wisconsin.[1] He graduated from Northwestern University Dental School and became a practicing dentist.[2]
Political career
Rice was an alderman of Delavan, Wisconsin from 1916 to 1917 and later served as Mayor of Delavan from 1918 to 1922. He was a member of the Assembly from 1937 to 1960, serving as Speaker from 1951 to 1954. Rice was a Republican.
