OntoUML

OntoUML is a UML Profile whose elements represent finer-grained distinctions between different kinds of types and encompasses a set of constraints defining the admissible relations between these elements. It is particularly suited for modeling domain ontologies.

A modeling infrastructure for OntoUML is currently being developed in the Eclipse platform [1]. The infrastructure includes OntoUML metamodels, graphical editing, transformations from OntoUML to Semantic of Business Vocabulary and Business Rules (SBVR), from OntoUML to OWL and from OntoUML to Alloy.
