Oneupweb was originally a division of Alaska Web Art, a website design firm founded in 1996. In 2000, the company relocated from Alaska to Northern Michigan and began offering a range of search marketing services. As of 2007, Oneupweb had over 40 employees and was headquarted in a 23,000-square-foot (2,100 m2) facility located on Grand Traverse Bay.[1]

In 2009 Oneupweb was rebranded as an interactive digital marketing agency.[2]

BtoB Magazine named CEO Lisa Wehr to the Who’s Who in B2B list in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.[3]

Services

Oneupweb offers analytics services under the name ROI Trax, which measures traffic and dectects click fraud and trademark infringements.[4][5] The company also produces podcasts and has analytics tools for them.

Oneupweb reports on industry trends and released a position paper about change in digital marketing spurred on by the growth of social media,[6] and condcuts research investigating consumer behavior online, including studies using eye tracking technology.[7][8]

Oneupweb also publishes creative media, including stop-motion videos and augmented reality.[9] They had several notable works including Obama vs. The Sign Thief, a 40-foot (12 m) dancing Obama on their corporate headquarters the week of the 2008 Presidential election that was broadcasted on CNN, MSNBC and CNBC, and[10] Office Survival Kit, a direct mail piece with information about advertising that received an award at the BMAs and recognition in BtoB’s Best.[11][12]

Awards

Oneupweb has been recognized by Advertising Age as one of the top search marketing agencies for three consecutive years.[13] In 2010, the company was named to the Corps! Magazine “Best of Michigan Business” list.[14] The company's website was given a gold award at the BMAs.[15]
