History
One Simple Wish has been was founded in August, 2008 in Ewing, New Jersey by Danielle Gletow. As a 501(c)3 organization,[4][5] One Simple Wish has been granting wishes to foster children and impoverished or vulnerable families on a national scale. The store front, commonly called the "Wish Shop" or "Dress Shop", has been part of this organization since June, 2010.[1]
Programs
One Simple Wish recently launched a new program named Wish To Work.[6] As homelessness and joblessness in youth who age out of foster care is extremely high, Wish To Work offers a series of networking events, seminars, lectures and training led by local business professionals that focus on giving these young people the tools necessary to find and secure jobs or internships in a variety of industries.
