IBM Omnifind

IBM OmniFind is the main enterprise search platform from IBM. It comes in several packages adapted to different business needs, including OmniFind Enterprise Edition, OmniFind Enterprise Starter Edition, and OmniFind Discovery Edition. The current version of IBM OmniFind Enterprise Edition is version 9.1 and was released in June 2010.

IBM OmniFind Yahoo! Edition is a free-of-charge version that can handle up to 500,000 documents in its index and is intended for small businesses. IBM OmniFind Yahoo! Edition is simple to install, provides a user friendly front end for administration, and incorporates technology from the open source Lucene project. IBM withdrew this product from marketing effective September 22, 2010. IBM withdrew support for this product effective June 30, 2011.[1]

IBM OmniFind Personal E-mail Search is a research product that enables semantic search over your emails by extracting and organizing concepts and relationships (such as phone numbers and addresses).
