Urbanus (Roman usurper)

Urbanus (Roman usurper)

Urbanus (d. 271?) was a Roman usurper.

Urbanus staged an uprising in the beginning of the reign of Aurelian. According to Zosimus (1,49,2) he was soon defeated. It is possible that this usurper never existed.
