Oliver Malin is a London-based artist. His debut short film, "Every Second Is My First[1]" was screened as part of the London filmmaker convention at the 2010 Portobello Film Festival.[2] In 2011 he directed a music documentary for Communion[3]/Island Records, which documented a week of musical collaborations at the Flowerpot venue in Kentish Town, London.[4]
His artwork has been shown at "The Museum of Everything"[5] and Camden Town Unlimited where he had his debut solo show, entitled "We Are Disposable" in February 2011.[6]
His pet tortoise "Lionel" has come to symbolises the spirit of the nu-folk[7] scene spearheaded by Communion records[8] with Lionel featuring in NME, The Independent[9] & many music blogs.
