Olga BeresnyevaCompetitor for Ukraine Women's Synchronized swimming European Championships Gold 2010 Budapest 25 km open water Olga Beresnyeva (Ukrainian: Ольга Береснєва; born October 12, 1985[1] in Mariupol,[2] Ukraine) is a Ukrainian a long-distance swimmer.
Career
Beresnyeva debut at the Olympic Games of 2000, at the age of 15.[2]
After representing Ukraine at the Olympic Games of 2004 Beresnyeva migrated to Israel.[3] After failing to qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics Beresnyeva returned to Ukraine.[2][4]
Originally a 800 metre freestyle swimmer she became a long-distance swimmer in 2008.[2]
Beresnyeva won the 25-kilometer open water race at the 2010 European Aquatics Championshipsat her first ever race in that category.[5]
