The source of the north branch lies at Shortheath Common near Oakhanger and strecthes from Oakhanger to Selborne Common near the village of Selborne. It adjoins the River Wey from East Worldham to Kinglsey. Its total length is approximately 3.9 miles (6.3 km).[1]
Course
The source starts at Shortheath Pond in Shortheath Common, near Kinglsey Mill. It runs south from the crossings betwenn Kingsley Stream and Oxney Stream down to the village of Oakhanger. It then runs near the town of Bordon down to the village of Selborne, where southern source is located. The overall length of the stream is approximately 3.9 miles (6.3 km).[2]
