ONLine is a proposed 235-mile (378 km) 500-kilovolt electrical power line that would connect Southern Nevada with Northern Nevada.[1] The northern terminus would be located at Ely, Nevada with the southern terminus located outside the Las Vegas Valley north of Apex Nevada. This line would provide the first interconnection between the two areas of Nevada served by NV Energy subsidiaries. The $510 million line would also provide a way to connect renewable energy projects along the eastern edge of Nevada with the existing electrical grid.[2]
The proposed project is a joint venture with LS Power.
