Æscwig Church Catholic See Bishop of Dorchester In Office ca. 977–1002 Predecessor Alnothus Successor Alfhelmus Personal details Died 1002 Æscwig (or Œswy) was a medieval Bishop of Dorchester, when the city was seat of the united dioceses of Lindsey and Dorchester.
He was consecrated between 975 and 979 and died in 1002.[1]
