NurseFinders is a chain of temporary employment agencies around the United States that make assignments between physicians, nurses, caregivers, and other similar professionals and clients.

NurseFinders works to keep costs down for the client by having a lower cost companion at most times around the clock, and then brings in a more expensive nurse when needed for tasks that take less time.[1]

Company information

Nursefinders started in 1974, and since then has often changed hands.

In 1997, the company was sold by the Personnel Group of America to an investment group for $65.25 million.[2]

In 2003, Robert E. Livonius became the CEO. He replaced Michael Sinclair, who had been the acting CEO since 2002. Both had been with the company for longer in other roles.[3]

In 2007, the company was purchased by Miami-based National Healthcare Staffing.[4]

In 2010, the company was acquired by San Diego-based AMN Healthcare Services for $220 million.[5]
