Biography
Nubar Terziyan was born in March 1909 in Constantinople. He went to the local Bezazyan Armenian school.[2] In 1940 he began his career as an actor and eventually play as lead actor for Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar's Efsuncu Baba turned film from a novel in 1949. Since then he has been in 100s of films and TV shows. He died on January 14, 1994 at age 84 and is buried at the Balikli Armenian cemetery.
Popular Culture
Nubar Terziyan was mentioned in a song by famed Turkish singer Sezen Aksu called Kirik Vals (Broken Waltz) in her Deniz Yildizi (Starfish) album.[3]
