History
- 1985 – Link Group Consultants Limited is set up by a group of consultants who were partners in one of the UK’s largest consultancy practices.
- 1989 - The company recruits its first software development engineer.
- 2002 - Establishes a company in North America and separates itself into two operating divisions; Link Reward specialises in reward consultancy while Link HR Systems concentrates on the development and supply of the software products.
- November 2006 – Northgate Information Solutions acquires Link Group Consultants Limited and the company becomes a division of Northgate HR.
- December 2006 – The company is renamed as Link HR.
- May 2007 – Northgate buys Arinso.
- December 2007 – Kohlberg Kravis Roberts agrees to buy Northgate Information Solutions for £593 million.
- March 2008 – Northgate Information Solutions plc is de-listed from the London Stock Exchange following completion of the purchase by KKR.
- May 2008 – Northgate HR is rebranded as NorthgateArinso and Link HR is rebranded to become NorthgateArinso Reward Solutions.

NorthgateArinso Reward Solutions provides software and consultancy in the reward areas of Job Evaluation, Market Pricing, Equal pay, Pay Modelling, Flexible benefits and Total Reward Statements and currently has over 1,000 customers in both the public and private sector.
