Northern Tasmanian Junior Football Association

The Northern Tasmanian Junior Football Association is an under age association of Australian Football, which was established in 1975[1] as an extension of the then 'mini league'. In its early years the competing clubs took the names and colours of the then NTFA clubs:

They being:

  • City South
  • East Launceston
  • Launceston
  • Longford
  • Scottsdale

and from 1984

  • Deloraine
  • George Town

were admitted, with the expansion of the NTFA.[2]

There are teams from ten clubs in five age groups for the 2009 season.[3]
