Gene HamNorth Ridge Estates & Country Club is a residential neighborhood and country club located in northern Raleigh, North Carolina off Falls of the Neuse Road. Besides the two golfcourses, North Ridge Country Club has an olympic size pool and swim clubhouse, a 70,000-square-foot (6,500 m2) club house, tennis courts, restaurant, tennis club house, and a fitness center.[1]

Golfing & Events
North Ridge has two 18-hole golf courses, The Lakes and The Oaks. The Lakes was built in 1967 and The Oaks was built in 1972. The courses were designed by Gene Hamm and George Cobb, and later updated by John LaFoy.[2][3] The Club hosts numerous charity events, golf tournaments, and other social events.[4]The North Ridge Country Club is known for staging special dining events throughout the year. Among the most popular are Chef Grasley’s “Tour of Italy”, an authentic Italian feast served family style. Culinary tours of Germany, Asia and Greece are offered to members. Other special dining events include a cocktails and hors d’oeuvres theme such as “Endless Summer” featuring fresh coastal cuisine, and “Mardi Gras Party” featuring the delicacies of New Orleans. Holidays are also special events such as Easter, Mothers Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.[5] The neighborhood also hosts annual Christmas balls, Fourth of July Fireworks, a garden club, and wedding receptions.
